Commissioning FAQ

How does commissioning a painting work?

When you contact me to consult about your personal commissioned painting. We will go over everything in detail either though email or in person if local, We then decide your choice of boxed canvas size, and colours, We then go over pricing, process times and payment options.

What do you receive with a commissioned painting?

Every artwork despite how big or small has a process of development, archived and shared between yourself and I via email.

I will document the creation of the piece or pieces through:

  • Concept sketches  See the idea being sketched out
  • Progress of the painting in it’s various stages.
  • Unveiling event. At the finish of each piece, i will reveal the piece either via my painted canvas pages  or locally, This is an extra option for those interested or can remain private until permission given.
  • A beautiful option For buyers of the original artwork: In addition to experiencing your canvas,  I can offer a print of your painting free of charge if required, extra prints at a additional cost.
  • My own Certificate of Authenticity that will verify the value and origin, and hologramed on the front, which is an important document for ANY original artwork.

What is the payment process?

All commissioned work requires a 50% down payment of the total up front once we have discussed the size of canvas.  This is to cover the cost of materials and is a non-returnable deposit. Payment can be paid directly though paypal, or a bank transfer.

How long do commissioned paintings take?

Due to the high demand and busy schedule, custom work  can take 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the waiting list and size of the project, Please be sure to contact me with adequate time in advance, stating when it is needed.
